The first hour after a drive fails decides a lot. Turn the device off, don''t install recovery software on it, and write down what happened. If the files matter, get a professional opinion before trying anything else: a lab such as [Jet Data Recovery in San Antonio] can tell you after a free evaluation whether the data is recoverable and what it will cost. Most of the damage people do to their own data happens in that first hour, while they keep restarting a failing drive to see if it has come back. https://jetdatarecovery.com/
